8 Pilates Equipment You Will Need For Home Workout || Marisa Pilates Fitness

Pilates is an excellent workout for any sports, young and old people. We don't really focus only on core muscles as you all believed Pilates is all about core muscles. We target every muscle in the body and correct the weak muscle. Pilates does sculpt the body of your dream and it also helps you to prepare to go to the next level in fitness. We help teach you how to do everything correctly.

To maximize the results and get the body you want, you will need a couple of this equipment for home workout. I strongly recommend not using this equipment if you are injured, if you have a shoulder injury avoid equipment and focus on legs and butt equipment. Don't worry you can get these things at the Sportsman's Warehouse, TakeaLot, or department stores. It is great to have your own equipment for home training and you will feel like a super badass with your own mini-gym. I also added budget-friendly equipment for students until they get the right equipment as well as for travel :)

Here is what you really need:

2x pairs of dumbells
lightweight for beginner 0.5kg-2kg
heavyweight for advanced 3kg-6kg

Budget-friendly
Lightweight - 2x 350ml Bottles water or 2x canned foods
Heavyweight - 2x 1L Bottles Water

1x kettlebell
beginner 5-8kg
advanced 10-15kg

Budget-friendly you can use 2x 5L water bottles and always have an extra two with for in case if the crib broke off. Don't swing with it, it is great for lunges to walk, etc. or backpackers and pack books in or 1kg packed rice (you can add 1kg x5 for 5kg or more).

1x swiss ball

It is great for core workout and it is one of my favorite exercise of all. You can do anything with the swiss ball.

Don't have a swiss ball you can do exercise without a swiss ball until you get one 😊

1x exercise mat

Make sure to find a comfortable exercise mat for you, some like a thin mat, some like thick mat.

Budget-friendly towels do the trick.

1x foam roller/tennis ball

It is very important to have your own foam roller. You will need to massage on your off day to give your body a break. It will build strength and help you bounce back faster.

Budget-friendly tennis balls also do the trick.

1x stretch band (Heavy)

The stretch band is great for glutes and leg workout. It designed to grow your glutes and power up all your body and fitness goals.

Get one it is great for everything.

1x ankle weights

1kg or 2kg

The ankle weight is great for core and glutes workout, it designed to grow your body and fitness goals. It will sculpt your abs and build an all-round stronger core and glutes.

2x sliding plates

Paper plates for wood floor, carpet or tiles, and 2x cloths with socks on for tiles will do the trick. It is the absolute one of my favorite exercises, excellent for core and inner-tight legs, it will definitely tone your whole body up and give your heart a nice pump.
